Arezzo is a sunny hilltop town in Tuscany and has a wealth of artistic, historical and cultural heritage to offer such as Piazza Grande, the Cathedral, the Churches of San Francesco ( within the frescos of Piero della Francesca), San Domenico ( within the Crucifix of Cimabue) and Santa Maria, the fortification and the Roman amphitheatre, and some museums.
Eminent people such as Giorgio Vasari, Francesco Petrarca, Piero della Francesca, Guido Monaco were born here and helped turning Arezzo into a fantastic artistic town.
The historical centre of Arezzo is surrounded by the city walls and divided in four neighborhoods. Lory’s House is situated in the neighborhood of Santo Spirito and can be easily reached thanks to the ample parking lots in the proximity.
The Antiques Fair has been held on the first weekend of every month, uninterruptedly since 1968.
